Yoshinori YOSHIDA
My specialty is cardiovascular medicine. After obtaining my doctorate, I began researching iPS cells, focusing on generating cardiac cells and tissues from iPS cells, elucidating pathological mechanisms, developing new therapies using iPS cell-based disease models, and exploring regenerative medicine using iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes for severe heart failure. My goal is to translate the results of basic iPS cell research into clinical practice.
